You can make a significant improvent in staging by just moving the tweeter to another location - like how "Farkey" did it here:

Well, I asked for wood because I knew I didn't need it very thick at all. I can take some more pictures tomorrow during the day.

I think I paid something like $100 for them...they're just little wood boxes made to specifications I measured for them, so any person more competent with a circular saw could do it.

Oh, and before anyone asks, I have since lost those measurements

No. They just made the boxes. I actually mounted them on top of my stock panels...

I always do installs that can be completely brought back to stock...
