Default AEM EMS 1012 VS VAFC II

Hey

Right, I've been offered an AEM 1012 at a reasonably good price and am considering swapping this into my car in place of the VAFC2.

The VAFC2 has a crude tune on it at the moment - nothing special - and works a treat.

Would 1012 be much of a leap for NA applications?

Currently running I/H/E/HFC/4.77 FD

Thanks

No, not worth it unless you plan on going ITB/Cams/Internals or FI down the road.

And FYI, this is in the wrong forum.

You are right of course - it should be in engine management

Here's hoping a kind mod will transfer the thread for me.

You're good, and I think there are a lot of people who wonder this everyday. Are you planning on going FI ever?
