Alarm install: Door locks wont work?
Alarm & wiring gurus:
A good friend of mine, who's been an installer for a couple years, was installing an alarm on my S today. The alarm install is perfect except for one thing: door locks. He's been working on the door locks for a couple hours and he can't get them to work. The DEI techsoft wiring diagram says nothing about how to handle them besides the norm. I overheard him talking to his coworkers about handling it as a "5-wire" or something, but that didn't work out either.
I looked up an old post by DouglaS2000 about how there is a very simple way of tapping two open spaces on the OEM keyless entry harness to make it work. Can anyone give me a useful wiring diagram or some kind of information about how to locate these pins and how to pass this information on to my friend?
Thanks,
Richard

That thread has all the information needed. This should be in an FAQ or something. DEI wiring guide is misleading and could cause a bit of confusion.
