Alarm system issue

My car has an audiovox alarm system. I disengaged it when I stored it about 4months ago. Since I am in a different state I can't get to my car. My car's alarm apparently just went off for some reason. Any other reason than bad wiring?

Maybe the battery is getting discharged. This would either trip the voltage sensor, or re-activate the alarm; making it go off. Next time you store your car, disconnect the battery.

This is probably it than. I forgot to disconnect the battery when I stored it.
