Default Alpine 9815 ground question

After reading the threads (shown below) offered by PAS2Knut (thank You) I will be wiring the 9815 from the battery BUT here is an ignorant question - What about the ground - is it subject to the same issues - all things consiered or can I just use the oem to 9815 adaptor black ground? thank you

personally, i'd start by tying into the factory harness.... if you get noise in the system, then move that ground to the body.

if you want to be cautious from the start, find a nice nearby exposed-metal ground point and ground it there.

If you take off the driver's side knee pad there's a bolt right behind there attached to some exposed metal. I grounded my there.
