An S2k friend of mine upgraded his stereo and has this Alpine he'll trade for some detail work on my part. He said I just need a harness and this is what I came up with:

I am in no way, shape or form a car stereo guy and really have no idea on what to do. He's putting it in for me and said I just need a harness. Will this one work?

Hey Zach, who are you getting it from? If it's somebody that's normally at Applebees (or if you're going to be there tonight), we can figure out what exactly he's giving you, and from there, what you still need to pick up.

Do you just have the stock radio right now? Planning on keeping the dash radio controls?

 

It's Marc (JRZ). I couldn't come tonight b/c I was stuck at the hospital. The stereo is totally stock and I'd like to keep the dash control for volume but it's not necessary.

 

I'd suggest getting the DCI and harness from Modifry.
