Size!

I've seen a few tiny 2- and 4-channel amps offered by Massive and Arc - if there are others please let me know.

The Massive BX2 does 120Wx2 at 5.0"x6.3"x1.6"!

I'm gonna try the Power Pack first to see if that satisfies me before pursuing some other options...

This is the other amp I'm looking at aside from the Power Pack:

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-bxzi8kS...-PBR300X2.html

•dimensions: 6-3/4"W x 1-9/16"H x 4-1/4"D
•100 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms (150 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms)
•300 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)

$250 from Crutchfield, but only $135 from Amazon

The specs on that little guy are pretty impressive. I've never been a fan of anything RF - but I haven't heard anything they've made in ~4 years so maybe things have changed?

I'm going to start a new thread to discuss ultra-compact amps that could possibly fit inside the passenger dash. Sorry OP!

Looks great! How much Dynamat did you end up using in the doors? Was there a noticeable improvement?

Def an improvement, the clarity and depth of sound is better and the doors feel solid. The shop used a single layer I believe, traced to the exact shape of the inside of the doors. Surprisingly it seems I don't need it for the trunk, not much vibration in the trunk lid. I'm still figuring out the tuning on the HU. I may try some of the presets from Alpine specifically made for the car via the tune it app.

Pretty good with my iphone 5. Sometimes the bluetooth streaming for songs kinda cuts out but gets better.

Nice setup! Waiting to install this HU until my modifry DCU and PnP harness come in. Hopefully the install goes smoothly, I've never messed with car audio before
