I have/had Alpine SPX-177's and SPX-137's and they are great. Some of the best speaker I've heard. Very well balanced sound for my taste. And the Pro's sound even better.

Great the Pro's and install them properly power and tune them and be happy

Agree with darknight. I have used both the SPX-177r (with the xt19 tweeters are highly regarded the audio forums) and the SPX-17Pro, the Pros are much better and can handle much more power. If you want a big difference in base, deadened the doors.
