my setup is almost the exact same way, except different sub/amp and i have a grill. I think to maintain the stock "look" you are looking for this is the best way to go. And you still have your spare tire. btw how did you mount your amp? im thinking of re-doing mine

The amp is screwed directly to the frame/bar through the liner. It fit and lined up perfectly. I've had that amp in three cars!

I used the plug that holds the spare tire cover to also hold the cover for the amp wires.

I'm getting a grill for it soon.....still shopping.

i kinda went for a stock look as well. my amps are in the spare well though. I cut the spare bump out and lined it.

the amps are sebring silver. so they match the car. had room for two PG 600Tis.

i can hear the stereo at 70mph with the top down. crystal.
