What is the largest amp that will fit under the driver's seat
I currently have an Alpine amp (I don't know the model, but it's 70x2/35x4 wired to the two fronts and bridged to the rear sub in the trunk) mounted beneath the driver's seat. I have been very happy with this amp, but I need more power to hear the radio clearer at high speeds with the top down. I was hoping to get a 90x4 + sub out or larger, and install speakers behind the seat, keeping the Kicker tube in the trunk.
I was curious to see what others are using and if there were any problems with mounting the amp in the trunk (overheating specifically). I travel alot and my trunk is full for that reason most of the time. I'm afraid if I have an amp at the bottom of the pile, there will definitely be overheating issues.
I'd like to see what others have done and if there is a larger amp that will fit beneath the driver's seat. I know the passenger's seat is not an option, there is not much room there due to the transmission hump.

Closest might be Audiobahn's A6601T--it's a 6x75w but it's got a 18.75x2.75 footprint...and I don't know how you feel about Audiobahn
Actually there's an even better one--the Memphis Belle

I've been eyeing that bad girl for quite some time now--75w x 4 in the front and 1100w @ 1 ohm for the sub

But yeah....wouldn't fit under your seat either...I know Memphis's amps are small, but not that small...for that space, I think you're really stuck with the little Blaupunkt amps. You could do a 4100 under one seat and bridge a 2-channel of whatever power you need under the other seat like the setup the Rolling Audio guys showed up with this weekend...
