Amp Location
It sounds great....not enough power for my tastes, though. When you tune the amp, do not set your HU sub gain up all the way. Set it to around 1/3 max, then tune the amp gain. This will allow you to up the HU sub gain for lower volume listening, for a little more punch. You will just have to remember to turn the HU sub gain down for high volume listening, or you will clip the amp and / or send it into protect mode. I JUST tuned my a week ago. If you need help with it, let me know.
Remember, when running the wires, run the RCA's down the center console and the power down the passenger side (separation will prevent signal distortion due to proximity to power source). What HU are using?
Matt - Nice setup on the trunk lid. How did you do that? How much $ did it cost?
