Default Amp under seat

Does anyone know if an amplifier will fit under the seats? If so, what is the maximum height for an amp to fit, I know it can't be much!

Thanks!

Well I know some do, and there are plenty of people who have done it. I am trying to put one under the passenger seat, but I got a larger one (like 2.5" thick" and I don't know if it will.

Search, a lot of people have done it.

Mine is under the passenger seat and it BARELY fits with dimensions of 13-1/2" x 9-5/8" x 2-1/8".

I had to slide the seat all the way forward; bolt down the back part of the seat. Then, while lifting the seat up slightly, slide it all the way back and then bolt down the front part of the seat over the amp. However, you can't adjust the seat one bit so it remains in the all the way back position.

That's good to know, mine is Dimensions (L x W x H) 12-1/4" x 10-3/8" x 2-1/8 according to JBL's website, and I thought maybe I could cut the carpet to gain a little more clearance.

Genesis Profile Four,
Genesis Profile Two Ultra,
Genesis Profile Two
Genesis Profile Sub,

Thickness of these is 38 mm, and You need to cut a carpet out too.

also some of Helix amplifiers could fit.

I have a kenwood that fits under the driver's side. Not sure on the size, it's only like 250w though, I only use it for the speakers, car is at the body shop, otherwise i'd get the model number and measurements for ya...

You could gain some more by cutting the carpet. I didn't cut mine; just drilled some holes in it.
