Amp under seat? maybe?

ok.. i also found a rockford fosgate power 450 s that looks like a good quality amp that runs 112 x 2... and a kicker kx400.2 that runs 100 x 2.. out of those 2 amps and the PPI... which amp is the best quality

Why would you want the amp under the seat,? You'll have to keep the AC running all the time to accommodate for amount of heat you'll be producing with that amp.

i figured the inside of the car would be generally cooler than the trunk (with no air at all)

Search thru previous posts on the electronics forum, I'm sure some people have installed amps under the seat. It will be much easier to order one that someone has already installed under the seat so you don't have to worry about dimensions and overheating, etc.

The PPI amps run pretty cool but I'm not sure about size. Actually, I can go check for you since my amp is out right now.

sorry, couldnt wait any longer.. purchased the Kicker KX400.2.. hope it works.. and i hope itll go under my seat.. thanks for everyones input.

I was not referring to the amp overheating but rather the overall heat with in the cabin of your car.
