Any last minute recommendations for me anyone?!
OK, I've finally saved up enough for my new setup.
I purchased a JL 500/1, CDA-9835 and a set of JLVR 6" coaxials and a JL 10W6v2. The 10W6 will be fibreglassed into the tool well. Now before I actually get everything installed I would like to hear your opinions. I normally don't need earth shattering bass but just clean, full sound. Will this be sufficient? Or should I just refund everything and look into something else?
thanks!

That should be fine for anyone that just wants the warm punch that a sub brings to their music. Personally, I like to overpower my sub rather than underpower them.. JL500 is a little under "rated" power handling specs of the w6, correct me if I'm wrong. But it still should be fine.
Only thing is, with the money you're spending on JL equipment, I'd rather get something else, for the same.. if not less money, and would sound probably sound better, but then again it's personal preference.
My suggestion would be, Image Dynamics, Elemental Designs.. or Resonant Engineering.. just to name a couple. I have heard IDs and EDs before and love them, I guess I'm the only one.. but I prefer ID over ED, unfortunately I've never had the chance to hear REs, so I can't give you a personal feedback of them. And mids, you can look at Boston Acoustics, MB Quarts if you dont mind really bright sound, or even Dynaudio if you're willing to fork up the cash. Go with old school PPI or MMats, US Amps, or so.. for your amp needs. JL makes pretty good amps.. but again, so overpriced. There is better for that money.
That's just my opinion, you asked for a suggestion, I still woulnd't mind your setup one bit though.
Right now I have one Alpine Type R with a PPI 1500w peak amp, and I have the gains at a little more than a quarter.. and it's plenty for me, that's just me though.. I'm not looking to shake the two cars next to me on the road.
