at the moment i have the CDT HD-62US gold 6.5 components and have thought about upgrading the midbass driver to the CDT ES-07 7in woofer. going to a 7in driver, will it add more bass? and most importantly will it fit??? i know alot of people are running the dynaudio components, but these are just a tad bit bigger then there 7in driver.

You'll just need a custom ring to hold it but depth wise it should be fine.

 

just an FYI, these speakers will fit... but barely. had to trim the speaker mounting hole alittle bit and a 3/4 mdf spacers is needed. they sound incredible!
