REMOTE AUDIO-ADAPTER

I have never seen it so I just wondered how popular it was.

I have it.

I use it to add a small speaker in the headrest for additional audio feedback.

I found it difficult to hear the V1 going 80+mph with the top down and the radio on (I have an all aftermarket stereo system). So I bought the remote audio add on and a small spearker from Radio Shack. I have the remote audio add on under the dash just to the left of the steering column and the speaker hidden in the webbing of the headrest.

I have one, and use it mostly on my motorcyle to drive helmet speakers.

In a car, it can be handy for two reasons:

1. increase volume of alert/relocate speaker for alert, and

2. Remote mute. I had it mounted on the side of the center console for a while, and it was nice to be able to shut-up the in town false alarms without reaching for the windsheild.
