Anyone own an Alpine IDA head Unit?

Also, does anyone else have a 12 volt power supply hidden behind their HU on the passenger side? Not sure if this is a stock thing or not, but the previous owner of this S2k has one. It's actually in a great place if I want to use a nav system or portable satellite radio. Might look into that.
It's not stock, but others here have done it, as the location of the 12v behind your elbow can be annoying. I believe there is an accessory fuse spot available for this purpose.

Last thing - can anyone confirm that for a 2005 S2k, AP2, there are only 2 speakers and 2 tweeters, 1 on each door? I found someone make a note of rear speakers behind the seat in AP2's that I am trying to confirm (would check out my car but it's still at Honda).

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that it wasn't until the 06+ models that Honda included the small speakers in the rollhoop panels.

That's what I thought as well.

I plan on upgrading the door speakers in the next 2-3 weeks. I want to get some good 6.5"'s and keep the stock look of the door.

I hear the Polk db651's are pretty good. Any thoughts?

db651s' are coaxial speakers. Might as well use the stock tweeter locations and get some good component speakers instead.
