Anyone with stock alarm and a voltmeter
My alarm install saga continues this morning, but for those uninitiated, see this thread:

We've already decided that pins 11 and 12 of the remote keyless entry module are inputs for a lock/unlock signal. However, are they 12V or 5V signals? It would seem simple enough to keep all signals at 12V, but I'm so used to the computer domain where internal logic signals are 5V. So, I'd appreciate it if anyone with the stock alarm could measure the voltage at these pins when the remote lock and unlock buttons are pressed.
Oh, and just so everyone knows what to look for...the remote keyless entry module is a small black box behind the starter button, and can be seen by poking your head under the dash. It has a blue sticker on it that says something like "remote keyless entry module" (go figure, eh?), and has a white plug on the bottom.

See reply in your original post.
Oh, and one more thing - you probably noticed, but there is a good amount of space on the "shelf" formed by the bottom of the dash, where it curves under and behind the start button. Probably enough room to install an alarm control box if it's not too thick.
