I was wondering if anyone if having the same problem w/ their alarm:

First, let me say that I have a SS alarm w/ 2-way pager.

This is what happens. Seems like every time I change my battery, the paging feature goes haywire. When I arm the alarm, the pager keeps ringing as if someone is paging me.

I called the shop who installed the alarm, and he said that sometimes when you change batteries, you need to "reset" the pager by turning vallet mode on and off.

I tried that the first time, and it seemed to make the problem go away. However, I just changed my battery, and its happening again. And this time, the "reset" doesnt work.

Has any of you had this same problem? Do you think it is a problem w/ a faulty sensor?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

I doubt it's a faulty sensor.

I usually put mine into valet mode BEFORE changing the battery.

Then I typically have to relearn the pager to the car (turn the key on/off 5 times, it goes click, click, click, then insert the battery.)

Never a problem using that method. 2-Way SS also.
