Aux-pod
Just saw this.. one more iPod controller. This one looks the best to me so far. It's much smaller than the Alpine, works with all headunits, and could probably be wired into the dash controller with a DCI. Makes me want an iPod... 
The connection path goes like this:
iPod + Aux-Pod + Wiring harness (Pac makes harnesses for everything) = iPod controls through factory dash controls. They say on the site that steering wheel controls work so maybe they make a kit for our dash buttons too. Oh, it charges the iPod when connected too. Seems like a system almost identical to BMW except that it works with all vehicles.
