Default Can't get headunit back in....help

So I finally decided to install my old amp to my existing headunit which in a pioneer. I am having great difficulty putting the headunit back to place. I even went ahead and trimmed the wires a bit to see if that helps, but no. Any tips? This is driving me crazy!!

i know on the ap1s, you have to push some of cords further back to get headunit where it is supposed to be, at least i have had to do that everytime i've put in a new headunit with a bunch of extra RCAs/modifry sticking out

Thanks for the reply. About last year I too the HU out to replace modifry's DCI, I also had difficulty but wasn't that bad. So I don't know if the extra RCA cables and remote wire for the amp is making it worse. I'm going to try again tonight.

No luck. Does anybody have a shop or experience with the AP2? I might just have to pay to get this thing back in.

If you pull the wires from the drivers knee side there's an opening that you can tuck the wires in. I tide a wire to the HU plug after it was plugged into the HU and pulled on the wire while I pushed in the HU. Hope this helps

I ended up going to Best Buy since they close late and the guy did it in 30 mins for $35. Only thing I noticed is that the clock on the car keeps resetting to 1:00 everytime I shut off the car. I read it could be the backup fuse under the hood, but it doesn't look blown. Any other ideas? Did something maybe come lose when the headunit was installed?
