My 2002 S2K Check Engine Light Came on when i hit 90K......

Is this just a formality or do you think something really happened ?

pretty sure its just a "dummy light" reminder to change your oil and crap.
just reset it. and if it comes back in check into it further.
(unhook battery or turn key till lights come on, hold trip reset on odometer for 10 seconds, push "Start")

 

Is it the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT or is it the MAINTENANCE REQUIRED LIGHT?
