Compustar- where to find one?
I realize that Compustar doesn't condone internet sales of their alarms but anyone know where I can find one for cheap (I believe the model I was going for was 2WSS-AS)? If not online then somewhere near NYC?
Also, does it come with EVERYTHING I need to install it including turbo timer and auto start? If not, what else am I going to need (for example, the box to simulate the chip in my key whenever I autostart the car)?
What makes Compustar safe for manuals other than an e-brake sensor?

I think the turbo timer is a function of programming, but i'm not sure which models it functions on.
auto start depends on the model. one is alarm only, one autostart only, one both.
i believe what makes them "safe" for remote start on the manuals is they have a specific procedure requred for shutting the car off, ending with you exiting the car with the engine running and letting the system stop it. If the procedure is skipped, or anything is changed (like opening a door) then it won't let it start. (And no, i don't own one, never used one, just read the manual for one a long time ago, so there might be a few inaccuracies in what I remember)
not that i've seen anyone on this board really recommend remote start at all for our cars. Its genearlly considered a bad idea.
