Well like most of us I love my S and at times need/use every little inch of our tiny trunks. I know about the footwell sub, darksides side mount subs, and the normal tool well box. But I want to keep my space and don't need the spare tire. Most people put amps in that empty space but has anyone made an enclosure in that spot. Not one that fires straight up into the tray but pointed to the back of the car. My idea was to get another spare tire cover piece and cut it to fit a sub and make a fiberglass enclosure using that panel. Looking for help ideas etc

 

i have a project coming up to do this, going to require building the flat sections out of 1/2 MDF with a fiberglass expansion to hold the 12" sub.....

 

Nice sounds like we are both doing the same thing except I'm using an 8. Structure of the box will be made of mdf and then have the 8 extend from the top into the Spare tire cover
