Right now, it's just wedged in/leaning against the back.

I purchased a fairly powerful amp (RMS 150W/ch) to drive my Polk Audtio components (RMS 75W), so it shoudl only get warm and not get too hot.

I don't know what g-s2k did, but I have a Kenwood 4 X 35 above my gas tank. I just wedged it in place. If at some point I decide that it's not stable enough, I'll probably move it to inside the spare tire.

I was going to mount the amp to a board and velcro the board down. I didn't want to screw it down. However, now I know I can just wedge the amp in and that saves me a step.
