So the manual says to disable the auto open on turnoff to press the multi control button and choose off. LOL Ummm there's only three options for me there and its not in any of the sub options. I never take the face off so I dont want the option on and it taps the radio door when it opens, not a biggie but annoying.

Also it seems that it will only play PERFECT burned CD's, once they sit in the car for a while or even get a hair of a scratch I get an error 23. The manual says CD-R's shouldn't be exposed to the sun in the notes for that error. Anyone else have this issue too?

 

You have to enter setup with the HU off

 

Also - burn them on the slowest speed you can.

 

How do you enter setup with the HU off?

 

turn the radio off by holding down the src button. then proceed to hold down large toggle knob to bring up menu, then scroll thro by turning the knob, eventually u will find what your looking for.

pioneer manuals tend to be a little vague
