Discuss: Frequency (Sound) Tuning
Hey every one.
I just installed:
CDA-9830
Alpine SPS 170A's (Coaxial) speakers. (Power from HU)
I also have:
(x2) 10in Kicker L5's - Subs
800.2 Rockford - Amp

But my question is,
I want to adjuste the sound. and on these Alpine's. It's done by Frequency's
How do i Tune/adjuste the sound.
Are there any rules to follow.
What are your settings.
-I am use to Treble up/down, Bass up/down

I can't help you with your tuning needs, but I will say this. You can tune that thing till it's just "perfect". As soon as you start driving in a convertible, top up or down, you'll be lucky if you just hear it clearly.

Just set you high pass on the components to 50 Hz and your low pass for your subs to the 80Hz. You can tweak it from there until it sounds best. xviper is correct - all things will change when you start the car or start moving.
