Doors Locked Themselves Today - twice
I got the car out for a decent drive today. One two occassions the doors locked themselves while my wife and I were in the vehicle. I unlocked both doors after the vehicle was locked, we got in the car and as I started the vehicle the two doors locked, I think the interior light came on just as they locked. Both instances were under the same conditions. This is the first time since owning the vehicle for over 3 years.
I have the keyless system altered to allow me to use my key fob and trunk button while the key is in the ignition (modifry diy method). I am also driving the car without an instrument cluster as it is out for repairs right now.
Does anyone know what may be going on here ?, thanks for reading and any replies.

my tacoma does that sometimes...b/c the passenger door switch is messed up. the car doesn't know that the door is opened and re-locks. the system will automatically re-lock if a door isn't opened within 1 minute... maybe yours is having a similar problem. does the dome light work properly? hope this helps

P.S. - I just tested the door switches and neither door triggers the interior light to come on. I believe with my instrument cluster disabled it isn't recognizing the doors being opened , hence the door locks re-arming after approx. 20 seconds. Thanks for the tip Ap1drew, I think I've solved the issue, once my cluster returns it should be all good.
