I would imagine a DCI would work, I dont know if Modifry's will, though....you may have to go with PAC. Also, I checked the specs, and the RMS power rating on the unit is NOT CEA-2006 compliant (meaning it is most likely less), or at least it didnt say it was. For $199 you can get a good Pioneer Premier series unit off ebay.

you'd have to use a PAC would be my guess.

still, i don't think that HU will work, the fold down face may be a major problem given the location of the radio door.
in the end, Dual is pretty much low grade as well...

i wouldn't pursue the use of that HU. if you're heavily budget restricted these:

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-VUxvChr8SyW/c...P4028&s=0&cc=01
are better options, and will work w/ Modifry's DCI.

Thanks for the suggestions... i never heard of dual until last night when i saw it on crutchfield??? the reason i was intrested was the motorized face plate. Well i won't consider it anymore.

i was looking at crutchfield for a Sony CDX-M850MP, it has a motorized face that flips over completely for a display in the back. It's been discontinued, so i just looked around crutchfield, and found Dual.

I wanna get an MP3 capable Player with a motorized face (coz it look good to me) the Dual was the cheapest.

Any suggestions, for a head unit less then $250 with a motorized face plate?

Thanks again for all the responses.

you can get an Alpine 9851 for around that range....great HU. The motorized face is great and all, but you cannot put the radio door up if it is tilted.

do you want a flip down face or does it have to be motorized?
several of the units i linked have flip down faces that are not motorized.

now, if you're looking for a face that drops down and can sit low like the Dual-- the S2000's radio position and the radio door prevent anything from going lower than the bottom level of the HU. the dual you linked, and some other Kenwood, Pioneer, and Sony units will not work in the S because their faces need to drop below the level of the bottom of the HU.

so, if you're looking for something that has that appearance like this:

or like this:

none of these are going to work in the S2000. the face just has no where to go down to without hitting something.
