Escort 8500 hardwire kit.. where did you guys wire it?
I just bought the hardwire or smart wire whatever its called and I was wondering where did you tap the lines for the power? I just got the car yesterday and I dont wanna tear it apart.

On with ignition in fuse box (3rd down) - for positive
Wire negative to grounding bolt next to the fuse area.
Then wired the hard wire smart cord remote to under my steering column and the other end up the A pillar.
Look at the site library (tab at the top of the page in line with home, forums....) then go to modifications, electronic, hard wire a radar detector...
