Has anyone checked out the component speaker install at s2000.org?
There is no article, but just the photo's.
The author takes a metal strap and bends it so it can fit behind the door lock "cup" (the housing deal that the door lock, and release are) leaving a little flange exposed to mount your tweeters to. After about a million rough drafts, I managed to do a pretty good job of recreating this from his photos and drawings. I installed em in my S just now, and i hafta say, im pretty psyched. They face the right direction, and NO cutting or drilling to the door whatsoever!

If anyone is interrested in these, I could probably whip a few up fairly cheaply.
I'm gonna try to post a pic of the tweeter installed.

 

i actually have them in my car right now.
no drilling, but you need some good double sided tape.
