does your garage door opener use dip switches for codes or does it use a revolving code system?

 

Update. I ripped the garage door opener out of the S2000 and undid all the modifications to it. Right now the garage door opener is the same as it was before I started, but it still won't work. I have an identical one, so I'll just do some basic troubleshooting tomorrow, basically checking for continuity and what not.

The remote is obviously 6v.

I tried leaving the brights on for as long as 10 seconds and as short as just a flick. Didn't make a difference.

I have no idea what type of code it uses. It's a Wayne Dalton garage door opener.
