Default gotta few questions before i place my order

hows it going? i did a quick search, but didnt find what i wanted. basically, im curious to know about how much power cable will be needed to run from the battery, to the drivers side, into the cabin, and right behind the drivers seat?

im gonna revamp my whole stereo, and am gonna have a sub mounted directly behind my seat, mounted to the back "wall" of the cabin. also, im replacing the Hu with a pioneer deh-p4000ub, and the doors are getting polk audio 651's. they'll be powered by an older pioneer amp ive got sittin around, and the sub's gonna be the 8 inch powered blaupunkt sub.

i know its nothing special or baller status, but it should provide a decent upgrade at the least, without costing me a fortune.

any input i can get would be awesome. thanks

james

To be safe, I would get 25 feet. Always better to have a little extra. You'll also need a few feet of ground wire of the same gauge.

I purchased this kit recently when I put in my system. 20 feet was just enough with a little extra left over. I routed mine from battery over to drivers side, back to trunk on passenger side.

If you pull out the battery there is a nice big grommet right there on the passenger side to go through. Then you can go straight back from there. Just run your RCA's and speaker wires along the tunnel to keep them away from the power wire.

ill definetly look into the grommet behind the battery, should be alot easier.

also, im gonna search before i ask if anybody's got links to pics that show the best locations to run the RCA's along the tunnel, lol

the easy way is to run them under the carpet on the sides of the tunnel,
just pull the clips. if you're feeling ambitious, you can run them through
the tunnel:
running wires through the center tunnel
