Default Grounding point for aftermarket h/u

It seems that whenever I increase the volume on my stereo, all the speakers starts to produce pops. I am assuming that my ground is not sufficient (I just tapped at the factory ground wire). I have components up front and coaxs at the back. Anyways, where can I place a new grounding point in the space where the radio is? I prefer to have an existing bolt/screw so that I will just have my ground wire attached to it.

Thanks for the help.

Poping sound? That wouldnt be a grounding problem. Im not sure what it is maybe the speaker is over extruding or the amp is clipping. Its most likely a ground.

It is not much of a popping but more like distorted sound. You are right though, it seems that the amp is clipping. The funny thing is, I am using the internal h/u amp. I will check if the power is that I am feeding through the stock wire is enough or not.

How do you think I can go about testing this?

Thanks for the input.
