Can you confirm for me that this head unit fits cleanly behind the radio door cover when closed? thanks

Yes. Fits like a glove. No worries.

I think that is it but I suggest confirm with Modifry via e mail that that is the right stuff, and all the stuff, you need to run that head unit.

I've been looking into doing this same install myself, but if I'm looking at the pictures correctly, you shouldn't need the Modifry Adapter Harness since you are buying the PnP Alpine Harness. The only thing possibly missing is the SCV kit if you want speed sensitive volume, but I may try installing everything without it first.

Default Modifry Deals?

Hey Modifry reps! Any good deals currently? Need a setup for Alpine head unit in my "being delivered" new S2.

Was wondering what I need and what's for sale right now? I was leaning towards the UTE 62.

Thanks!

Thanks, does anyone have any experience though, with the Modifry DCI - why is it better than getting, say, the Crutchfield Adapter that supposedly controls the "steering wheel" buttons as well. That thing is only about $22. Modifry is $90.

I will email them, seeing if you guys have an opinion.

Thank you.

Completely plug and play, and for me, the speed control volume is awesome to have!

And I can attest that it actually works with the s2k and alpine head units.
