Default HELP: CD-player problems

Guys,

I am having problems with my cd-player (stock). When I put in a cd, the cd-player at first tries to play it, but about 5 seconds later, it spits it out with an

I would suspect a bad disc. Scratches, dust, bad CDR... Try another disc if it still does the same problem.

If it does this with every CD, the most likely suspect is an inability to focus. Whatever the reason, the chances of you being able to fix it by disassembly is near zero, so take it in and get a new one.

Are you playing "burned" CDs or "store bought" CDs?

It does do it with every cd. I guess I 'll have to take it to the dealer.

Hi,

I hope that you had your problem fixed. Can you tell me what you had to do. I am having the same problem with my CD player and it used to happen only once and a while, now it doesn't play at all.

Please help
