Default help me with component decision

I know you guys hate questions like this, but I am struggling with a decision and need some advice. I can get Focal K2P's and Polk SR6500 for about the same price (Focals being $30 more) Which would you recommend? I am going to be powering them with an Alpine Pdx 4.150 and have Infiniti Perfects in my Spods to compliment them.

I have heard the Focals in person and was amazed, but the Polks have been rated very highly by many people I respect, but I havent had a chance to hear a set. Opinions?

Thanks.

Lat year at this time, I was all excited after reading CarAudio's review on the SR6500. They said that if you don't have enough money to buy the Polk's, save up your money until you do. So, I went into my local Sound Advice ready to purchase the Polks. I was still a little undecided between the Polk SR6500, JlAudio ZR something, and the Focal K2P's that I have been reading about. (I was out of the Mobile fidelity scene since 1995 when my Polks and MBQuart's sounded good).

Come to think of it, it seems like all publications have something good to say about everything. I never read a review about a piece of equipment that they didn't have something good to say about it.

So, I compared the three and to my ear, I liked the Focal K2p's. I bought a pair of K2P components for the front and rear and have never thought again about any other speakers.

I really like the Focals. I think they're some of the best I've ever heard.

will the alpine Alpine Pdx 4.150 be enough to power components and a JL 10w3?

I know I broke a EJ rule by asking the "what speaker is best" question, but I appreciate all of you chiming in. Sounds like the Focals are the way to go. Thanks for the input.

yeah I go with that too, I've listend to both and the Focal components have a much more natural sound reproduction -- the Polks is good, but a little more geared for pop/hip-hop/etc. as they have brighter highs and a little boomier bass.
