Default HELP! Radio causing subtle whining noise?

If the radio is on while I am driving, a subtle whining noise is present and increases in pitch as I accelerate. If I turn off the power to the radio, the noise disappears.

What could this be?

Sounds like your audio system is picking up interfearance from your engine. Possibly your alternator.

do you have an amp? check your grounds. could be a ground loop, picking up alternator whine.

Yeah, chances are it's a bad ground.

Alternator whine is often caused by a bad ground. Make sure your grounding point(s) for your amp(s) are less than 4ohms to your battery's neg terminal.

Well, it is my dealer's problem when I take it in. This noise wasn't present before I picked it up last week.
