Probably not the best selection for a 300watt amp and an 84db efficient sub. Something like a JL W3 might be a better choice. Just one suggestion.

I have Jl W3 10" and i absolutely love it. very clean yet pretty damn loud. It's very musical in that it can blend well with the speakers but also be very loud if you want it to be. and based on the fact that your amp is a Jl and its 300w RMS then that is more than enough to push most subs. even though it is only 300w RMS it puts out quite a bit more than that peak. for Jl amp and sub

And as for the w3, I guarantee it's nowhere near as clean as an SI sub. Guarantee it. Nor is it as loud.

 

i have a 12 w7 jl and a v2 500/1 amp, it sounds great, i just need to add an upgraded highs package and my s should sound Sick... but what do you expect a DJ has to have a good audio system
