Default high beam

hey guys, would 70 watt bulbs be fine for my high beams? bascially they r the pure yellow nokya bulbs that i want for the drl's i wouldnt use them really other than that. Since the drl runs at a lower wattage would it be fine even though stock is rated at 55w?

You risk damaging the wiring harness, the connectors, and the headlamp assembly.

It's a very bad idea.

There's another solution but do NOT use those filament bulbs since they get too hot.

Kinda off topic but when we turn on our high beams, do the low beams turn off? Never tried........?

The low beams stay on. It's bad for HIDs to turn off and on again quickly.

Fog lamps typically turn off.

I believe our high beam bulb is a H7?

I was not thinking of HID but rather a special high output LED bulb....

I've been using one in my s2000 headlight for the 7443 blinker bulbs:

(middle bulb)

Our high beam bulbs are an H1. I just replaced mine with the Osram Nightbreaker H1.
