Default Homemade guys.....

Ok......finally finished my system today, will have pics later in the day. A huge thanks to all of you who helped me and took time to answer my questions....

now....a few problems....

I have, or just got out of nowhere...and slight ground noise.....like a bzzz from the tweeters....the ground for both amps is coming from the STOCK honda ground bolt. Any ideas...

Next, this question is for the more experienced in audio......

I was driving along...blastin my tunes...and everything was peachy.....

Next, I pop a quick u turn to go to my friends house and the fuses on the amp that pushes my highs blew....put in more fuses....works....then touch the wires that come out of the left side crossover...and they blow again....can tugging on those wires blow the fuses.....they are ziptied to the body (the circular bar that goes across the trunk, and maybee they got "tugged" when the car turned....any help would be great.....again, thanks a lot guys, and stay tuned for pics.....

No amp is bullet proof. Also they rely on fuses for protection which do not always do as good of a job as they should. Hopefully it's fine, just don't discount amp damage as not possible.

Patient: Doctor doctor, it hurts when I do that!
Doctor: Then don't do that.

Bad advice for sure, and I am guessing here too. It sounds to me like your power connector is loose at the amp (either the wire to the connector or the connector to the amp.) If tugging on the wire causes it to loose connection, then simple NOT tugging on the wire is not enough. If that power wire comes loose and starts rattling around in the back of the car ....

No no...i was talking about tugging on the IN wire on the crossover which caused the "short". The power and ground wires are ....tyte like a tiger....
Thanks guys...
