I dont know about you guys, but Ive never had an amp get sooooo hot on me that I couldnt hold my finger on it. I do however, always buy more "amp" than necessary percisely for this reason.

really?

lol. i could probably cook on some of my amps.... of course, running class AB amps mono bridged at very low sub impedences will do that...

most amps running a 4 ohm load (especially D-class mono sub amps) won't get that kind of hot.

then again Dave - don't you usually run your sub amps in stereo mode at higher impedences? while a completely valid way of doing it, that really doesn't present high loads on the amp either...
