Default How much wire for S-PODs

Did a search but didn't come up with much. I'm about to install an Alpine deck and a set of S-PODs in my '05 S. I'll be installing Alpine components in the S-PODs. So, my two questions are, where should I locate the crossovers and if going along the center console, how much wiring should I get? Thanks.

I put my crossovers under the plastic panels behind the seats. Plenty of room. You are going to love the spods.

Do you have an amp? If so, where are you going to mount the amp?

If not, then 5-6' for each side should be enough wire. However, get extra and cut it short only once you get it installed and make SURE you have plenty of slack.

It's always easier to make the wire shorter.

ebeldesign:

Did you secure the crossovers to anything or was it snug enough under the panel to simply hold them in place?

As a first pass, I was just going to run them off of the Alpine deck's power. Down the road I may add an amp, probably just for the fronts and a sub, but for nowI' trying to simply improve the audio for top-down driving at freeway speeds.

Always get more than you need. If you are going from SPODS to headunit, 20 feet should suffice.

http://www.knukonceptz.com if you want good cheap wire.

I used the same double stick tape that I used to secure the tweeters. Holds fine.
