What you need is 6.5" XTC foam baffle and cut out 2"x4" at the bottom to mimic the OEM speaker basket. My installer cut off the back of the OEM basket and use it as spacer. The order of the install was: speaker, basket, foam baffle (with cut out at the bottom), then door.

I was tempted to cut it but TBH even with just the ring of the basket the speaker was too big to fit so better keep em for return to stock if I ever were to.

Agree abut the baffles, been meaning to get some but havent had a chance yet. have been eyeing up the rear speaker options though.
