Which Infinity speakers will fit the 2002 baskets and which do not need Lucids adapter? (Some do). Anyone know?

Also, out of those, which do not require an amp but may require a new head unit? (I see some have a 2-90 rms range).

I have a 2002 and I just installed Infinity 605 cs reference components in mine. I did use the lucid adapter but I think I could have done it without it. The adapters are really just spacers and they only cost like 20 dollars. Anyway, the speakers sound great but I would suggest an amp. After I added the speakers I added a Xtant 50x2 amp and the difference is amazing. It really rocks now!

I think I ordered the Infinity speakers on the internet for like 90 dollars.

Did you need to trim the baskets? Did both speakers go in easily? (An amp sounds like a very good plan.) Where did you put your amp?

 

The Adapters from Lucid replace the baskets. They are great and easy to install. If you can use a Screwdriver, then you can install them.
