Default Installing an Alarm

Well i'm going to be picking up an '08 GPW S2k this week and the car is going to be parked outside in the driveway instead of inside. I live in NY and i have been warned about the s2k seats being a hot item, so the first thing im doing is adding an alarm. I'm planning to put a viper 771 with remote start, which is the same one i had on my old accord and it worked great. My younger bro works at Best Buy so i got the alarm for 100 bucks, and i asked a few of the installers there about installing in the S and they all were saying how difficult it would be. Is really any more difficult then installing in another car besides the obvious work room issue?

no its not at all. Ive installed MANY alarms into s2k's. its just the same as any other car probably easier. All your wires are right under the dash, ignition harness, keyless entry unit. its simple. they are just bullshittin ya. maybe because they have never done one?

i can get an s2000 alarm done in about 2 hours or less now.
