Sound quality of stock HU vs. aftermarket is another debate for another thread, but I'm very very happy with the SQ on my stock HU with the neo. I have it mounted with the proclip mount and almost never open the radio door anymore.
I am happy with the neo also, my homie has the Alpine adapter and it's slow.

i used the honPC adapter from LogJam - into the CD changer -> converting to RCA plugs -> converting to mini plug to the iPod earphone input - that was Ok but th esound quality was slightly less than OEM/CD output... that thing stopped working after a little over a year (just outside of warranty.

last week I installed th e Dension iceLink plus - and I am so far thrilled - you can control th e iPod pretty much from th eHU or the dash interface or the iPod...sound is agood/decent as the HU allows. I'm happy pricey at 200 but also readily available from Best Buy....

good luck.

I went with the HON-AUX from logjam electronics and have had no regrets. It cost me 50 bucks, arrived quickly, took me 20 minutes to install, and I think the sound is great (although my previous cars stereo sucked). But I couldn't be happier. And I could care less about controlling it from the head unit or the side controls. I think it's just fine sitting in the seat next to me, and it has worked flawlessly thus far.

Someone should make an extra sticky called "So you wanna put an iPod in your S2000? Read here."

I would just buy an aftermarket stereo if you want to hook up your ipod. For one you will have a better quality head unit and you can simply hook up your ipod with a $6 cable from radio shack to the aux on the deck, instead of buying a 150 dollar adapter which will end up sounding worse. You can take that money and put it towards an entirely new radio instead of an adapter. Just my 2 cents and what I did. -Michael.

No real need for the HU if you want to stay stock. The adaptors, provided they are not FM modulators, sound fantastic. At least as much as the stock HU will allow.

Yup - I actually ordered the Neo from mp3yourcar and they shipped the Dension. I'm happy with it so far.

I have a spare aux adapter (cd port to rca) available if anyone needs it. youll just need to get a cable to complete the connection. Either rca ->mini jack or rca->dock connector

I just finished my install and i dont need this. make me an offer.
