Default JBL C608GTI MKii

I came across these speakers on onlinecarstereo.com. I have a 300/4 jl audio amp laying around the house and am looking to put it to use with some nice components. These JBL's handle 150 watts rms and peak at 600. This is perfect for us s2000 owners because of our limited space. The only problem is it is a big speaker and I was wondering if it is even possible to install these monsters. It says the mounting depth is 2-11/16". I know some guys have installed Jl c5's with just adding a small spacer. I'm really interested in these speakers so any input would be appreciated.
