JL Audio Stealthbox
Great picture - does a perfect job on answering my question. I see that your amp (looks pretty large) is mounted to the left of the spare. My install will sacrifice the spare and put the amp (JL 300/4) and 6-disc Alpine changer in the resulting cavity. New panel to be fabricated (to replace the unneeded spare tire panel) with a gap so that the front of the changer will be visible.
Any thoughts/comments? I figure that all I'll need is the towing loop from the tool kit, a can of Tire fix and a AAA membership.

Do a search on the JL 300/4. It's a much smaller amp than mine. Somebody mounted it where I did and it looks much less intrusive than mine. I didn't want to give up my spare. You could probably mount it in one of the cubby holes on the side of the trunk. Then again, maybe you don't mind losing your spare.
Also, do a search on installs. There are some great ideas for nice looking installs out there. (I was looking for function over form) Shamu and Tifosi Red come to mind.
