Default spare tire

I noticed that inherent there is some room inside the spare tire. The way that it is mounted makes the inside of it a nice well for some things.

Just wondering what you guys keep in there or how you utilize that space. I put a set of jumper cables in there. Actually, ever car I have I keep jumper cables in the spare tire.

The tool kit (in a plastic kitchen catcher), jumper cables and 1 can of tire inflator.

Spare bottle of oil, 1 liter water bottle, box of safety flares, 1 can of tire inflator, a few rags, leather gloves, jumper cables. I leave the spare tire cover off permanently, it's in the garage somewhere, I hope.

The guy who installed my stereo also noted the space... now the inside of my spare is the home for a 600W amp !!!

It's not as pretty as some of the custom fiberglass jobs I've seen here but its a great use of space.

I hear that the factory amp/sub enclosure for I think the ITR or maybe the RSX-S would fit in there. I have a local friend who was going to try it. I dunno if he finished the job though?!

I wrapped them up tightly with a bungee cord and stuffed them in an old wash mitt so they wouldn't rattle from the bass.

Yeah, the RSX-S has the sub sitting in the spare tire. I remember seeing that in Car and Driver. While I don't own an S, I keep jumper cables in the spare tire.

Yes...I thought that was very clever when I test-drove the Type S...would have been cooler if the sub didn't suck though
